Simon turned 2 on September 22nd. He had an elmo party with a pinata and lots of cake and fun with family and friends. He loves to talk and sings his ABC's, Old McDonald, Itsty Bitsy Spider, Humpty Dumpty. He loves to wash the dishes.......especially when you don't want him to! He is very independent and recently started to use the potty....all on his own! He goes into the bathroom and undresses himself and makes himself go on his Elmo potty, it is very cute. However, I am not ready to potty train..........Manny pukes all over me, I don't need pee everywhere too!! He weighed in at 33lbs and is 3 feet tall!

Manny is just about 3 1/2 months old. He weighs 18 lbs 7 oz! HUGE! He is almost too big for the infant car seat! He started rolling over a few days ago, now that is all he wants to do. And he is starting to play with his toys. He loves Simon and will smile at anyone who talks to him. He jabbers too, but not as often because Simon never stops talking!!

Life is getting a little more fun and as soon as football season is done, I will get to have some control over things!!

A family of 4

Manuel Benjamin Garza was born June 19th, 4:48am at Holland Hospital. 9 lbs 5 oz and 21 in long. Healthy and so sweet! Simon is a great big brother, we are so proud of how well he is adjusting. I am SO grateful for family and friends who have been here everyday to help me transition into a Mom of 2. We give thanks everyday for our beautiful, healthy boys.

My big boy!! I am trying to imagine how our family is going to change in just a week or so! We are so excited, but I am a little nervous about Simon and how he will handle it all. He is such a happy kid and his big cheesy grin melts my heart! Life is good!

19 months and HAPPY!

Not much to post, just this cute pic of Simon. 19 months old and full of energy and spunk! Talks all the time and love to play outside, epscially with bubbles! 31 weeks down, 9 to go, getting uncomfortable. This one move A LOT more than Simon ever did!

Simon got another hair cut today! This time we went really short! I already miss his crazy hair, but I know it will grow back fast. And with all the playing in the sand box, now that the weather is so nice, I just couldn't stand to dig sand out of his matted curls!

He is 18 months now! WOW! He LOVES LOVES LOVES being outside, it is the first this he says when you go to get him out of his crib in the morning. He would probably walk around out there with a stinky diaper and no breakfast if I let him! His Gra (grandpa Kruse) has been here a lot painting his big boy room, and he REALLY enjoys that.

Life is great! Oh, and baby 2 is kicking and poking and joining in the fun already!

While we are on food, here is a cute one of Simon and his cupcake! He LOVES to eat!!

I am in East Lansing for the week and missing my baby like crazy. It is nice to have 'me' time, but I really wish I could give him a kiss goodnight! My dad was visiting this week and caught this picture of him. He just sent it to me tonight, and it made me smile and I had to share it! Thanks Dad, for the pick-me-up!

Simon is using more and more words everyday, he even knows some animal sounds. When he 'reads' by himself, he makes the sounds of the animals he sees in the books, simply amazing to Benji and I! At 16 months, these are all his words:

Announcement!

That's right. For those of you who don't know already, we are expecting our second baby in June 2010!! We are excited and I am anxious! Trying to imagine how life will be with two crazy Garza kids!! So far every thing is going well and baby is healthy. I'll keep you posted!
